could i use coconut oil instead of butter?
I substitute butter for Vegan Butter and it is to die for… love this recipe veganized π
Thank you for the video.
That was a relevent question…
i think it could be more delicious if you make it with brown suger instead! it really changes the taste of the pie.
thanks for sharing
I love apple crumb pie! I've always made it with a couple tablespoons of extra sugar over the apples to keep them sweet. However, your recipe has quite a bit of sugar in the crumb topping, so I am guessing it makes the pie sweet enough. Thank you so much for this recipe! I will definitely have to make this sometime soon! π
thankyou aunty. i made apple crumb pie!
wow i must try, YUMMY i could just smell it
I just tried this recipe at home. It turned out great!!! Thank you Manjula!!
Granny Smiths are the original cooking apple used before the Bramley was produced. I always use a mix of both because it makes for good taste + good texture which bramleys alone cannot make.
i think cooking apples are the way to go.
but the apples in the video should be the best
i woudlnt suggest using full red apples
since they are the sweetest.
and might ruin the flavor of the pie
use instant oatmeal.
I like this recipe because it uses ingredients one already has stocked in the pantry.
I must try it soon.
Oh wow. Thank you so much. I been trying to figure out how to do this. I tried it before.. it came out good but not perfect. I now see what i was doing wrong. Im going to try this on friday. Thanks
