  1. Okay why is my cake still underbaked? I preheated the oven, set it at 180°. Baked for 50min. Then again 15min. Then again 5min. The top is too brown now but it's still not done. The middle part. So I covered in foil to prevent further browning and baked for another 10min. As you guessed, still not done. Why?

  2. i finally tried this cake lol.. it was very milky i think it’s because i used a very strong flavored fresh milk. and the glaze for me was kind of like unnecessary (but u can add) it was great without the glaze. i also end up baking it for like 25mins for idk what reason but imma do this again and this time much better. thank you tasty! the cake is an 8/10 for now :)))

  3. *Lemon cake recipe*🍋
    (Bring this to the top!)

    For the cake:
    Maida – 3 cups
    Baking powder – 2 tsp
    Butter – 1 cup
    Sugar – 2 cups
    Salt – 1 tsp
    Eggs – 3
    Lemon zest – 2 tbsp
    Lemon juice – 1/4 cup
    Vanilla – 1 tsp
    Milk – 1 cup

    For the syrup:
    Sugar – 1/2 cup
    Lemon juice – 1/4 cup

    For the glaze:
    Powdered sugar – 2 cups
    Lemon juice- 3 tbsp

    For decorating:
    zest of 1 lemon

  4. Made this right now for my parents anniversary ! My mom loves lemon cake so I decided to make it. This is such an easy, straightforward recipe! Not difficult like other ones I’ve seen. It turned out delicious 🤤 definitely will be making this again!

  5. So i made it just now and while i was making the icing or the glaze it turned out to be a disaster for me basically it turned into a rock hard sugary candy type of thing instead of icing 😭😭😭😭😭

  6. Lemon Cake Recipe


    In bowl one:

    – [ ] Flour/ 3 cups
    – [ ] Backing Powder/2 TSP

    In bowl two:
    – [ ] Butter/1 cup
    – [ ] Sugar/2 cups
    – [ ] Salt / 1 TSP

    Mix bowl two

    Than in bowl two add:

    – [ ] Eggs/3 (One by one)
    – [ ] Lemon Zest/ 2 TBSP
    – [ ] Lemon Juice/ 1/4 cup
    – [ ] Vanilla/ 1 TSP

    Mix bowl two

    Then add bowl one to the bowl two (at a time)


    – [ ] Milk/ 1 cup


    Add the rest of the bowl 1 and mix ( Make sure not to leave any of the flour on the side of the bowl so use a spatula to get the flour off the sides)

    Spray the pan with cooking spray

    Add the batter to the pan (gently!!!!) and then make it nice and neat by leveling the batter by shaking it.

    And only then….

    – [ ] Bake: 350F (180C) 50 minutes

    And while you Waite…

    Lemon liquid Flavor:

    – [ ] Lemon Juice/ 1/4 CUP
    – [ ] Sugar 1/2 CUP

    Then stir with a spoon

    – [ ] Microwave/ 1 minute

    AND FINALLY !!!!!!


    In a bow and a ….net?(lol)

    – [ ] Powdered Sugar/ 2 CUPS

    Then make it snow

    – [ ] Lemon Juice/ 3 TBSP


    And grab the old spatula and make it nice and neat.

    Then You take the cake out of the oven( be careful if you are under 18 like use parent guidance) ( And also make sure it’s ready by poking it)

    Then you flip that sucker over

    Yep and you just stab it like you mean it

    Then take a paintbrush and paint the cake the Lemon liquid Flavor

    Then icing time!!!!

    And for decoration shred some lemon core

    And enjoy……….. 😜🍋

  7. This recipe is what I have been looking for!!! Ahhhh gonna make this soon! May I ask though, is it too sweet? Considering there is a syrup that is being absorbed and then there is also the glaze. Or is it just the right amount of sweetness that the person eating it won't be fed up?
