  1. I’m from Hawaii – my recipe, I add bacon, ham and spam, corn, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, canned cream corn and canned corn, potatoes, celery, onion, garlic, 1 bay leaf and chicken stock. Yum!

  3. Wow this is awesome. The one & only cringe I have is using just 1/3 of a bottle of wine i.e to deglaze. Is there another recipe you can share that uses Harvey’s Bristle Cream Sherry? That’d be cool if you could “tack” on or pair recipes together that uses the rest of a bottle of wine.

  4. I'll definitely make this… take 2-3 cups of chowder and hit it with an immersion blender and add it back to the pot as the thickener…corn starch if needed. Looks delish!

  5. I made this soup yesterday! We are obsessed! I didn't have half and half on hand so I mixed milk and heavy cream together as a substitute and it worked beautifully. This is a keeper recipe for sure.

  6. Whole Foods used to have a Poblano Corn Chowder that tasted amazing but alas, it has been discontinued. I will definitely try this recipe and just add a couple of roasted poblano chiles, maybe it will taste similar to one I have missed. Thanks for sharing Chef Parisi!
