Can you use stuffing to stuff a pork? If so do I need to pre-cook it just use wet mixture when stuffing pork?
Chef, you had me at Homemade Cornbread Dressing. Loved it!
Mccormick poultry season is great. I use chicken broth in sautéing my onion and celery .
Just noticed the Video shows 375F, but the written instructions show 350F
I'm going to Cajun this up. Trinity plus Andouille and maybe Crawfish.
This is THE best dressing recipe ever. My grandmother and mother used to make dressing but was never this good.
Making this!!! Great stuff Chef Billy.
That’s like the stuffing my mom used to make only instead of bread or rolls, she used a sleeve of saltines. That’s how I make it now, but I’ve never been sure on the amt of spice to use since she just made it and didn’t write it down. This is a great point of reference so thank you!
I have lived in south east TX most of my life.. 30 miles from the boarder of Louisiana. We have always used sugar in our recipe. It's kinda sweet and savory… omg
oodness it's the best..
Ahhh Dressing!!!! My favorite. I will make this random times throughout the year because getting dressing only during the holidays just isn't often enough!
Great tips.
I've never seen a veloute in a dressing — and I'm highly intrigued right now 🤔
Looks delicious, and you had me up until you added the eggs.
I was so confused by the “no sugar it’s non negotiable” I grew up with this stuffing/dressing with sweet cornbread my whole life, so if the cornbread wasn’t sweet enough I’ll literally add sugar to it or else it tastes wrong. This was the first time I’ve heard someone complain about sweet cornbread. We also always put prosciutto in it.
Chef, you have changed the cooking game for our family. Thank you for all you do!
Why can't people make it with just the Turkey giblets? What's with the sausage and nuts? Makes it weird. 🙄 No sugar. Thank you!🙂
Cream???🤪😳
I don’t like crumbly cornbread so I add flour to my mixture. Your cornbread is probably very tasty but I’ll stick with my recipe. I’m an Arkansas country woman.
Chef Billy, my family used chicken Gizzards and hearts because back in the depression meat was very scarce especially the war years so this was the protein available.
:50 " Be sure to use the one without any sugar in it".
Perked up and figured this one was legit at that point.
Apples dried cranberries and pork sausage
