  1. As a vegan i dont really have a problem with eating clams and mussels, since they are enviornmentally friendly! But i dont eat them But i dont mind if others do!

  2. Ok, but this does not seems a good replacement for other proteins, as it only contains 61g of proteins – and if I understood for the whole 4 servings.

  3. ~Ingredients~
    > 2 lb Littleneck or 1 and 1/2 lb Manilla Clams
    > 3-4 tbsp Sea Salt per 6 Cups Water
    > 2 Large Stalks Lemon Grass
    > (to serve with) 1 Sourdough Baguette + Olive Oil and salt
    >1 tbsp Coconut Oil
    > 1/2 medium Red Onion
    > 3 tbsp Fresh Ginger
    > 4-5 Cloves Garlic
    > (optional) 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
    >1 Cup Dry White Wine
    > 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
    > 1 tsp Fish Sauce (or soy sauce)
    > 2 cups Vegetable Broth (or chicken broth)
    > 1 13oz Can Coconut Milk
    > Scallions & Cilantro (garnish)

  4. @Tasty so the background videos you showed were of mussels not clams. Clams and geoducks grow and live in beds of sand/mud/silt where as mussels(like in the videos) or oysters cling to surfaces like rocks and rope.
