  1. to anyone interested once i made a omelette with whole chickpeas in and i mixed it with a pinh of banana for the taste, some soy milk , herbs , spices, sprouts , some nuts in . this was the batter it came out thick , filling ,and with a similar texture …..we can try on many different versions today i will make the tofu one !!!!and thank you for the gorgeous video !!!

  2. I love chickpea ”omelette” but wouldnt call it omelette. I dont use kala namak bc i dont like the egg taste at all. I use salt and italian herbs in mine. I cant taste the flour at all.

  3. Have you tried toasting the chickpea flour first slowly in a non stick pan on the stove? Also to 1 cup of chickpea flour add 1/2 c all purpose flour, 1/2 tsp of baking powder and 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt and a small pinch of kala namak, and turmeric. Add water to make thin batter. Brush non stick pan with oil or veg margarine. Mix sauted veggies into batter. Cook 45 minutes to 1 minute each side. The baking soda and baking powder make It fluffy. The toasting of the chickpea flour gets rid of the raw taste.

  4. You don't know what you're missing if you haven't tried sourdough rye starter omelettes…. rye has a naturally cheesy flavor. So GOOD! (No baking soda or oil needed in a nonstick pan).
