So you need Kombucha juice to make kombucha? I don’t get it what is scobi as well?
Fun fact (I used to work at a kombucha company) you don’t even need a SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast) to start kombucha! All you need is a bottle of booch. You can grab one from the store – something with minimal ingredients or unflavored works best. Throw the whole bottle in with your tea and sugar. It will grow a SCOBY as its fermenting and you can honestly compost them as they pop up. Happy booch making!
