  1. Props for the video. I am an obligate carnivore who cannot eat soybeans. Portobello mushrooms ALWAYS taste like beef to me, at least like red meat. There are several delicious mushroom species that can be turned into meat substitutes.

  7. Portobello mushrooms are delicious. Italians typically make them as steak on the barbecue or grilled. It's very traditional! They don't do it for vegan purposes, but portobellos are definitely a great meat substitute for vegans.
