Made this yesterday it was delicious. l used ground almonds (found the whole ones in my cupboard too late). Had to add more saffron (Spanish) which was hard to dissolve.

  6. MANJULA MATTA: THANKS FOR THE RECIPE! IT'S AMAZING HOW CULTURES ASSIMILATE RECIPES. IN MY COUNTRY WE MAKE "ARROZ CON DULCE" INSTEAD OF MILK, WE PUT RICE,COCONUT MILK, CINNAMON, GINGER, AZAHAR WATER, CLOVE, RAISINS AND THE FLAVORS!!!OMG. THIS KHEER I WILL TRY, I MIGHT THINK MY HUSBAND WILL BE VERY HAPPY, AND ALSO THE SAFFRON DRINK!, HUGS FROM PUERTO RICO!

  7. Thank you so much Manjula Ji for sharing your superb recipes with us. When I watched this video I thought of Sujata, who made kheer for the Buddha after he had starved for 6 years. It gave him his strength back so it must be full of goodness!
