  1. Even though they look delicious they are more like naans than a kulchas. Kulchas shouldn't have brown bits. The outer layer is yellow compared to a naan – hard to tell here because they're covered in butter.

Thank you for this very lovely and simple recipe which is open to many tasty variations.  I might have fried Vidalia onions with mine since they are in season in the USA.  Vidalia onions are a very mild and sweet variety of onion grown only in Vidalia, Georgia.  I also might add whole flaxseeds to mine.
