  1. I’m Mexican, our cornbread is more like a cake, sweet, we use condensed milk and corn kernels, in addition to either cornmeal or maseca for tamales. I’ve never made it using a cast iron skillet, will give it a try next time.

Billy, can you believe I've never eaten/made cornbread, but I am so intrigued about this one, and I love anything (and everything) corn <3 so I have to try it, I've thought about making it many times and checked recipes in books and maybe even tutorials, but never done it so far, but I trust your recipes and your knowledge, so this is the one I will try 🙂 You always have great recipes and great tips, master classes really, thanks so much.
