Isn't it better to get Prosciutto sliced on the spot from a butcher? A lot of these packaged Prosciutto meats have packaging that use gas flushing I believe.
I've seen how expensive imported foods are you buy what you can afford. I'm always on a budget for groceries so I don't over spend and usually my food bill is $100 to $160 a fortnight depending on how much I need at home
Honestly Laura, most people’s palate can’t tell the difference. Besides, just because something comes from another country doesn’t always mean it’s better. There are certainly some things that can only be sourced from a particular region, such as true Parmesan Cheese or Kobe Beef but if an average person compares an XO Brandy with an XO Cognac they probably won’t taste much difference.
Only the wealthy or childless can afford these NOW-A-DAYS.. way too expensive. The Imported Italian products for a family of 6 aren't in the budget. You have to consider the BUDGET… I think I'll fill my gas tank
I always thought that in order to sell it as prosciutto it has to be the real thing from Italy. In Europe that's the case and its called "Protected designation of origin". Same goes for parmigiano or feta. We only have the real prosciutto here in Sweden I don't know in other countries.
I watch her every single day. Love her and the whole family. Everything I've made has been a huge hit. Thanks you can't wait for you to have your own show.
I just want your coat!!

I just make my own. Just made a capicola and a bresaola that turned out great.
I normally agree with you but why does it have to be imported?
I live in America, I buy made in America.
Tell us about dunkin coffee, ha ha!

I wanted to look at the difference but it wasn’t shown to me…
I was watching a cooking video of hers from 11 years ago. This woman does not age!
Citterio products cost (even in EU) a fortune!!! It's insane!
It’s the best tasting
Why buy something from overseas that has a bigger chance of not being temperature controlled correctly on a shipping container?
I live in Southeast Arizona. We are lucky to find any kind of procito
if you dont have a budget
Laura!! Where is your brown coat from!?😍
You buy what you can afford! Imported can tend to be very expensive.
Great #short!

This look is reminding me of the reporter from NBC's Hannibal.
Hey Laura
Your take on the COSTCO “nitrate free” prosciutto ? I personally think it is very underrated
Cheers from San Diego California
