  1. Excellent presentation, Manjula! I always loved your recipe for refried beans the most and I am happy you updated it to include the instant pot version. Namaste!

  2. I never thought to try this with ginger, but after I started cooking your recipes and had hing around, I did use some before, and it was quite good. I'm definitely going to try this ginger in the recipe! Thanks!

  3. Thank you so much Aunty ji πŸ™
I tried lot of your recipes and they came out so well. You make it so simple and yummy

If possible can you show us Thai food Aunty Ji ?
    Thank you

  4. I remember that you are a Jane and that you do not eat onions or garlic, if I remember correctly. I am curious about why those are not eaten by Jane followers.

  5. I'm Mexican, and I know a lot of Mexicans who don't realize how important it is for the oil to be hot. I also add the beans without their juice, though I add it all at once after initial fry.
Same with the salsa. It's best with roasted tomatoes, but a lot of people char the skin but leave the tomatoes raw. Your salsa isn't much different from my staple (I add cilantro only once in a while).

  6. Hello Manjula πŸ€—πŸ˜š I'm follow at 9 years ago and is the first time coment you. Your food is good and look delicious πŸ˜„πŸ€— I'm mexican and this food we eat always πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜„ saludos desde Mexico Manjula πŸ‡²πŸ‡½πŸ‡²πŸ‡½πŸ‡²πŸ‡½

  7. I love the way you process the beans and the salsa dear Manjula Ji, trying that here, never thought of adding ground fresh ginger! As for liking vegetarian and vegan food, I recommend you try huitlacoches (corn smut), it is so good, we season with recaudo(chopped tomato, chili and onion) once done, in 15 to 20 minutes the corn smut is ready to serve, we serve with rice and accompany with some guacamole. We also add epazote, a wild herb that aids digestion, if you can't get this herb, use any other that aids your digestion. Thumbs up, thank you for sharing and greetings from Mexico! πŸ™‚
