  1. Just made this for my fiance and he said it was the best thing I've ever cooked 🥳
    Pro tip: I cooked the duck according to Gordon Ramsay's video, which is pretty similar to the method here, but the potatoes and sauce are OUT of this world!!!
    For the sauce: I ran out of honey so I used the same amount of brown sugar instead. I reduced the sauce until there was almost none left, and the flavor was unbelievable 😋

  2. Looks delicious. But I do have an issue with the skin not being tender enough to eat when it is browned on seared duck breast. I like the skin better than the meat itself and that is why I stew a whole duck in my 5 Quart Crock Pot.

  3. Sauce was too sweet for my culinary style. I ended up making a homemade demi glace and for the sauce I did 1/2 red wine 1/2 demi 2 tbsp honey 2 tbsp shallots then strained it. Potatoes could also be propped up with a tbsp or two of butter in the duck fat but not necessarily needed but would probably be best when pairing with a green that is more "girthy" than arugula
