I love this recipe ❤
Here I was, thinking I had to go buy a whole bunch of cashews to make the sauce. My pantry full of coconut milk suffices!
Yeah! for recipes for those of us that are lactose intolerant …keep those coming…:-)
You lying fools. It tastes like coconut and you said it wouldn't
Followed the directions and this definitely didn’t taste like Alfredo! Nope! Not at all! I think too much of the coconut milk. Thank goodness the chicken was seasoned well otherwise I wouldn’t have enjoyed this meal.
Chicken preparation:
4 boneless chicken breast
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 Tbsp olive oil
Pasta preparation:
Boil water and put in salt
3/4 lb Fettuccine (Cook to package instructions)
Sauce preparation:
3 Tbsp olive oil
1 large shallot
6 cloves of garlic
Pinch of salt
3 Tbsp flour
1 can coconut milk
1 cup chicken stock
1 Tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp pepper
Mix sauce with fettuccine and place chicken on top
I love using almond milk in mine. I haven't found a cheese substitute I like though. It tastes funny the vegan dairy free cheese.
Could u use oatmilk instead of coconut milk?
dairy allergy people rejoice!
Im going to use plain almond milk instead o don't want that slightly coconut taste in a dish like this
2:24 raw chicken!!!
are the noodles dairy free , if so whats the name?
Me, a vegan, opening this video and seeing them add CHICKEN STOCK.
This was delicious but I took the “don’t skimp on the black pepper” part too seriously and it was a little spicy 🥵 but still delicious
Tried it its really fool proof recipe you can't go wrong with it, this recipe is good for the beginners 😁
Way too much salt 2 teaspoons!, cut it in half, so salty tasting, otherwise really good
Mine came out too sweet. I don't know what I did wrong.
My digestive tract thanks you!! ❤️
Thanks 💚
This has become a family favorite! My son cant have dairy and this is such a treat! We are having it tonight to ring in the new year!!!!
I love this! New subscriber! I make dairy free recipe videos on my channel too. I hope we can learn from one another!
Yummmm
Won’t it taste like coconut if u use coconut milk?
How much protein and how much fat content in one serving of this meal?
Thanks
Nice and easy. Thanks for sharing. Has anyone ever told you that you’re both pretty, and you both have beautiful eyes. Just saying from the heart. No hidden agenda. God bless.
Thank you so much!!!
I would throw in some nutritional yeast. It would give it a nice "cheesy" flavor 😊
Wohoo! Thank you 😊! Newly discovered milk problem so happy to find something looking tasty 😁
Btw I'm wondering, can you taste the coconut in the finished meal?
If you make this; do NOT put two teaspoons of salt in that step!!! Holy crap. This amount of salt could give someone a heart attack. Salt is literally all I taste. I’m sad 😭
Will the coconut milk not make it sweet? Or would the onions and everything infuse it good enough?
