  1. Just grilled Lake Trout from Lake Michigan like this. Turned out great. Tasted like good restaurant fish. Didn't stick. Family was impressed. Will make again. Prefer grilling because it doesn't stink the house up.

  2. With the cedar plank make a slurry of brown sugar mixed with either sherry or pineapple juice. Brush it on the salmon then sprinkle steak seasoning on it. Put the lid down and cook till done. Delicious!

  3. Another good topper sauce for salmon:
    1/2 c Olive Oil
    1/4 c good quality soy sauce
    1 Tbs Dijon
    Pepper
    (Optional) Minced garlic

    Whisk all ingredients in a bowl using a fork until you see if come together. Spoon over the top of the salmon.

  4. Nice job Chef. We enjoy fresh Atlantic Salmon at least once a week, cooked over natural lump charcoal on our BGE. You mentioned fresh wild vs. frozen Atlantic, but I did want you to know there is another choice.
