… Well I'm from Texas and although I'm sure it's delicious, I used to just get a can of wolf brand chili, mix in the fritos and drown it in cheese. Those are the things I miss. =(.
I've made something very similar to this, though it was turkey chili.
The video itself is entertaining too because of how awkward the host is. There's no reason to be awkward, just talk as if explaining something to a friend.

Southerners! Hear my declaration! This is not a PIE. A PIE requires a CRUST and some EFFORT. This is just Fritos nachos. Tasty, to be sure, but as a Northerner with a persistent bee in her bonnet about that war you people started and lost, I'm gonna make this by turning the Fritos into a crust and piling the toppings into it.
