SHEPARDS PIE RECIPE:
For the filling:
Drizzle of Olive Oil
1-1/2 lb of Ground Beef, 85-15 is what I used
1 Small Yellow Onion, diced
2 Stalks of Celery, diced
2 Carrots, peeled and diced
2 Tbsp of All Purpose Flour
2 Tbsp of Tomato Paste
1/2 cup of Dry Red Wine (or stock if opting out of wine)
1 cup of Beef Stock
1 Tbsp of Garlic and Herb Seasoning
Few Dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
1 cup of Frozen Peas
2 Tbsp of Chopped Parsley
Salt and Pepper, to taste

For the potatoes:
1-1/2 lb of Russet Potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
4 Tbsp of Unsalted Butter, softened at room temperature
3/4 cup of Milk
4 Tbsp of Sour Cream
1 Egg Yolk
4oz of Sharp White Cheddar, shredded
Salt and Pepper, to taste

  1. I’m baffled I even have to write this but you guys, the down right abuse I’m receiving on this video is absurd. Yes I’ve had to block and delete many many people, don’t leave a nasty comment (I don’t care about your need to express your negative opinion that insults me in the process) if you don’t want to be blocked. We don’t play that around here. It’s a RECIPEEEE, if you don’t like it keep scrolling. Some of you need to get a grip and take a hike.

    I'm trying to figure out what on earth sort of hate comments you got for a recipe. Like I'm over here to learn from you (and avoid the political youtube channels) and I've entered a cauldron of recipe hate lol.

  3. We are doing non traditional holiday foods this year. We did Puerto Rican food for Thanksgiving. Im considering a cottage pie for Christmas. I don't know what else to have with it though.

  5. How about ratios and measurements? To start off you basically say to throw some potatoes in a pan of water to boil. You don’t say how much. Secondly you throw some ground meat into a pan to fry but again you don’t say how much ground meat! Seriously are ratios and measurements not at all important here????!! Next peal and dice some carrots! What exactly is some?? Basically your recipe sucks and it’s confusing because you forgot to add the ratios and measurements

  8. I saw an interview with an Actor on TV. He had the same problem as you. His solution; he has his Manager erase all negative comments.
    He never sees them. I thought it was a great positive solution. Lease always that You are Great and Educating people like me.

  10. I am planning to make it Saturday. I was supposed to make it before a couple of months ago, but I got really sick and forgot about it. Look at my recipes and I said I’m gonna make it. I’m doing better. I’m strong. You are the best of the best don’t let anybody bring you down and it’s just a recipe like you said it’s a recipe they don’t like it they go to another page. I don’t watch. Don’t listen. I don’t understand these people when they talk about other people you know what all you gotta do is turn off the page go to another site. The one person said so many bad things about her. She started crying and I told her the same thing he got evil people in this world and it’s getting evil don’t listen to them, they don’t like it go to another site and God bless I’ll let you know. I gonna try not good because every time I make a recipes they come out perfect I do step-by-step with you. I follow you.   11. Hi Laura, I just read that. Oh my God you know what don’t listen to nasty disgusting people if they don’t like your website all they have to do is leave and go and go to another website. I hate when they do that. I’ve been into yours and other people that another lady that she made her cry. Why do you have to say things you know what good if they’re nasty blocked them we have to technology you now don’t listen to them. You’re the best of the best you’re in top of the chefs. I love you so much love your family my God I’ve been with you more than 12. I think yours, my first computer don’t listen to the nasty people and you know what is lost. They just like being nasty and telling people disgusting things and just don’t let them get to you.   13. Not a nasty comment,,a definite observation.That’s a LOT of salt( pinch of?) your tomato paste already has salt .Your beef stock and the Worcestershire sauce also has salt,,so WOW girl.. you chefs sure love your salt.
