4-6oz Chicken Breast
1/2 of a small onion, thinly sliced
3 Cloves of Garlic, minced

3/4 cup of Freshly Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese ( I like a combo of Monterey and cheddar)

In the UK we have something very similar, in any pub that does food called hunters chicken. Just we don't crumble the bacon and serve it it chips and peas x

If you could answer: Were these chicken breasts pounded? They look flatter than store bought.
Could i use boneless skinless chicken thighs instead worry about drying out the breast

Made this tonight but with thighs ( cooked in cast iron until super crispy golden brown with rendered bacon fat) 😋 put a tad of Dijon on each piece and some hot honey bbq sauce not too much though. I had raw sharp white cheddar cheese 😀. Served with yellow baked potatoes and a arugula Parmesan olive oil and lemon juice salad . The toppings mix with the potatoes and it’s just fabulous ❤
