Not just a pinch of salt, you should add 1/3 of a cup of salt to a gallon of water. I like to soak mine over night. The way you know if your brine is the right amount of salt to water is the clams after soaking for 1/2 to 1 hour is the clams will have there little necks out drinking in the good stuff.. I raise clams for a living and there's no better way…
How many times though? I thought I heard you say… 6! Did you say 6? Because after cooking (and they were delicious, I actually opened up two shells in the plate which were full of sand… LOL!!!!! LIke FULL OF SAND! To be fair I didn't rinse them like you said, I simply "Soaked" them. Because that's what a lady I met at the supermarket had told me to do LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!
never explain how to clear those parts like intestines etc… are u site all parts can eat?
Woman makes a video about food prep and everyone here is like "i love your hair, come scissor with me!" 😂
Nice. I mostly just purge once for like 2 hours lol. I guess I am eating sand :P.
Madonna mia!
Leave them in that net bag, and then they are easy to pull out of the water for water changes.

Oh my God just get the Pearl out of it it's just so easy you just have to open the clams stupid
You drowned them
This is really overkill. Thirty minutes is fine. You want a little grit for delicious flavor!
And what if they do not open? I did soaking with plenty of salt over night and none of them are open. Is that mean they are all bad? 🙁
You ate all the things inside the shell or remove the sand and guts??
