Please, how do I find the recipe for this? I am not very good with you tube.
As I listen to you and see you, you remind me of someone from New York City where I’m from although I’m now living in Florida. I grew up on Arthur Avenue in Little Italy. Thanks for sharing this recipe. Can’t wait to make it. I just love soup.😋
My favorite home cook mom. Ive been watching you for years now . Even before you became a mother
Looks so good! Thank you for sharing!!
It looks delicious, but your website is hard to navigate. So I’ll have to pass.
Where do you buy the pasta from?
Just made this for the first time this season. Make it every year since you posted this video. It hit the spot and made me feel so much better. I only want to eat your pastina recipe! Thanks as always Laura for sharing your food and your family history. Always made with love
Looks good ❤
This was my first baby food. It will likely be my last too. Mine is a little diff as far as broth.
I am FINALLY starting to see Paxton’s back in stores. I had the hardest time finding it for a bit. Making this soon!
My mom made us pastina when we got sick. She made it with butter!! Delicious 🤤 😊❤ Miss you mom!!
I know this is not about cooking but her eyes matches her top 🙂
Wow i am so impressed
My favorite recipe I make it once a week.
this is absolutely delicious. I thought boiled vegetables would be bland but this combo of veggies is so flavourful and complex. Thank you!
This has become my absolute favorite soup. It amazes me how much flavor you can get out of just water, vegetables and some cheese.
Thanks for the recipe! Made it last night for dinner and it was amazing 🙂
This is so healthy! I can't wait to make this for my 7 year old boy.
Making this today!
Ciao, sei di Napoli?
Looks like something you can eat when you are sick
That looks sooooo good.
This makes me yearn for an Italian ancestry. Thanks for sharing.
laura, you always talk about your nona.. just wondering if your mom was also a cook? I never hear you speak of your mother but mostly your nona.
This is my favorite soup with pastina. 🙂👍My mother and grandmother made this .
Does the broth freeze well?
yummy
Will a food mill take those stringy fibers out of sweet potatoes to put into a pie?
Hi Laura, how much water should be in the pot with the vegetables? The recipe doesn’t specify. Thanks for your help! I can’t wait to make this!
Laura I can’t thank you enough for this recipe. My two-year-old won’t even look at a vegetable, let alone eat it. She is obsessed with pastina and I usually make it with chicken broth. The sodium was concerning to me, so I gave this recipe a shot. SHE IS ON HER SECOND BOWL!!!! This is the most vegetables she’s eaten in months!!! You are the BEST!!!
Our family makes pasting in chicken broth
Looks so good! I remember stratcatale (spelling isn’t right!) you know what I’m talking about, chicken soup with eggs. Escarole is another favorite of mine. Thanks
This is the only way I make vegetable soup now ! Thank you !!
love your makeup
You need to make just a montage of all the years Laura saying "it's hot" 😂
I would like to know what size the Staub cocotte is. I have a smaller 4 qt in the same color but want to buy larger. It's a striking color. Very rich looking.
Laura, another idea for comfort food: semolino!! Well I am from the north of Italy, but goodness I could live on that semolino everyday. With just some parmigiano reggiano and half a table spoon of olive oil… absolutely my favorite comfort food!!! Chiaramente fatto all'italiana… non sto parlando del grits americano eh!
She won’t be picky forever.
"Smells like home", I like that! Nona's soup is outstanding! I like what Nono wanted, chunky! But uhm, can I taste the one that pass through the food mill he he … Can't get enough of Nona's glorious soup!!! Oh Laura I really love you being nostalgic! You are an old soul that I love so much!
my mom from Italy , we ate this pastina a lot and i loved it , so i am going to make it now …great memories
Very deliciously Chef Vitale
I made this tonight! And OMG sooo good!
Vai Laura, insegna agli americani le basi.
