Did this sauce over store bought frozen chicken strips. I air fried with peppers and onions and plated over white rice. This 15 minute lemon chicken that was better then my favorite chinese place.
Geezus… fire your camera man, oversaturated. Lol! Great food though, honor the old lady, much respect, keep it up, yeah I know this is 2 years old blame the algorithm.

Ok i made this. Did some changes (except the lemon sauce prep, remains same) and turns out fantastic..
Used 2kgs of skinless chicken breast (pounded and cut into cutlets).. similar flour coating & spices except i did it in a bowl and shake off excess.. shallow fry them in batches in a wok using pure ghee 😅. Remove chicken, add the lemon sauce prep, let it simmer, drop in fried chicken cutlets and simmer for 10mins.. my family loved it so much..

Am I wrong? I thought that you couldn’t cook anything acidic like citric acid or vinegar in cast iron. If I’m wrong which I obviously am cause this looks delicious and seemed to turn out perfect please let me know so I can stop worrying about cooking acidic things in my cast iron skillets.

Hmm, I would have poured most of that oil out before putting the lemon sauce on it. Glad it is tasty.
Loved this recipe, but had a little problem.. I can't find ONE store where I live that has the frozen juices… Not one.. I had to improvise,, and made my own.. It turned out a little different But was so good.. Thanks for showing your videos.. I love watching them,, especially when you say @#%&)^ LOL

I treasure my grandmother's recipes. She passed away 38 years ago. I made a cookbook with her recipes and gave them to my brothers and sisters that next Christmas. We all treasure it 🙂

FYI the original recipes from the 50s and 60s called for a 6 ounce can of frozen lemonade concentrate (or 3/4 cup)
This would be delicious on garlic noodles with some pesto.
I like taking dark meat to 180’s
You could make this with frozen concentrated orange juice as well!
