  1. I've lived in New Mexico for 37 years (since birth) and the process is different but we call these tortilla burgers. Usually has green Chile in it. Love your videos!!! Still want to try this version.

  2. I made these for supper with the sauce, they were amazing. I used 80% lean beef rather than the 85% because that's what I had on hand. Dabbed off the excess grease with a paper towel. Cooked them inside on a flat griddle. And I added cooked bacon strips. Hard to believe how a simple burger can become so delicious. Family has asked me to make them 5 times in the past 3 weeks. Thank you.

  5. That’s a sad smash burger taco. Meat needs to be smashed past the edges of the tortilla so it shrinks back to the tortilla size. You’re gonna have no fatty meat flavor on the outside 1” of that tortilla
