looks good but caprese IMO lives and dies by the quality of its tomatoes and those looks like generic supermarket beefsteak style. i'm sure the pesto and aioli helps but i implore anyone reading this to go for a quality tomato

Had some leftover grilled chicken so made up a caprese filling with the chopped chicken.. put the filling in a Cresent roll ring …delish with fresh pesto and prosciutto. Yum

We totally agree with you that this was the best sandwich ever!! Our first attempt was a little messy as I think the bread was just a little too thin. But the next day we pre-toasted the bread then added everything and it was A-MAZING!! This is definitely a do over again and again and I will preach the word to everyone I know. Thank you, Sam.

Excellent recipe, Sam! Personally, I felt like it needed some aged thick balsamic on tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. So I added it and it was a hit! Everyone loved it! Thank you for sharing!
