  1. looks good but caprese IMO lives and dies by the quality of its tomatoes and those looks like generic supermarket beefsteak style. i'm sure the pesto and aioli helps but i implore anyone reading this to go for a quality tomato

  2. Had some leftover grilled chicken so made up a caprese filling with the chopped chicken.. put the filling in a Cresent roll ring …delish with fresh pesto and prosciutto. Yum

  3. Okay, you decorate that sandwich with the mozz & stuff like that, and yet at every occasion you probably tell you wife, "I can't wrap this present Honey, I'm all thumbs". Yeah, get him girl!!!!

  4. We totally agree with you that this was the best sandwich ever!! Our first attempt was a little messy as I think the bread was just a little too thin. But the next day we pre-toasted the bread then added everything and it was A-MAZING!! This is definitely a do over again and again and I will preach the word to everyone I know. Thank you, Sam.

  5. Excellent recipe, Sam! Personally, I felt like it needed some aged thick balsamic on tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. So I added it and it was a hit! Everyone loved it! Thank you for sharing!
