  1. When I was working over there they served me 'country ham', it was more salty than I am used to but very tasty. Dont forget that egg is going all down your coller and tie at work. But who cares about giving a good impression at meeting, just enjoy the food.

  2. Texas Style Chili!! (Not to be confused with tradition Texas chili, but it’s damn good!!) Sam needs some more chili in his life

    -2lb Ground Beef
    -1lb Breakfast Sausage
    -1Ib Chuck Roast, cubed
    -3 Red Onions, diced
    -8 Cloves of Garlic, minced
    -7oz Can Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
    -4 Cans (14.5oz) Fired Roasted Tomatoes
    -2 Cans (14.5oz) Tomato Sauce
    -5Tbsp Chili Seasoning, we used Meat Church
    -1 Beer of Choice
    **Combine Onions, Garlic, Chipotle Peppers and sauté for 10 ish minutes. Medium Heat
    **10 art Dutch Oven, brown Chuck Roast for about 10 minutes and
    remove
    **Brown Ground Beef and Sausage, remove fat is you wish
    **Add Onion mix into browned meat
    **Add Tomatoes and Seasoning
    **We smoked on Traeger Timberline at 225 degrees overnight from 10pm to 6am. Let it cool for several hours then reheated for lunch
    **You can do this in Crock Pot or on Stove Top, whatever heat source you prefer
    **Toppings we like….Fritos, Onions, Jalapeños, Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream
    **Enjoy

  3. As another English man this is not a bacon butty in any shape. a bacon butty is on plain white sandwich bread thinly buttered with red or brown sauce. This does look nice but is the usual American style of throw to many thing together and over kill the simplicity of the classic bacon butty. i better the bacon being so thickly cut was chewy and if made correctly would be salt over load.
    PS…… please no more shit English accent's

  4. As an Englishman I would fully get stuck into that it looks incredible! but its not a Bacon butty its more a bacon burger I guess! the bacon butty is a more cultural get up and go staple keeping us brits going in the AM!

  5. The bacon we prefer in the UK is shoulder bacon. The thickness of bacon you've used would probably be classed as gammon

  6. Mate, this looks banging, but the bacon is way to thick. You want it thin and crispy with a runny egg on top with hp sauce, loads of butter on bread and a cuppa tea this is a staple for the working man especially for those who work outside

  7. Worst cockney accent since Dick van Dyke in Mary Poppins. Bordering on criminal. Sandwich looks nice though, except the traditional sandwich (inventor: the Duke of Sandwich) has a width to height ratio of at least 4:1. You seem to have reversed that, and produced something that can only be called a "tower".

    However…the best bacon sandwich in the UK is Scottish. Specifically the Glasgow area. You need the chewy (high wheat protein) Morton's Roll (or similar Glasgow Roll). It's super robust, largely from the crispy crust, but not dense.

    Then you need 8 slices of back bacon.

    Butter the roll…both sides.

    Bit of black pepper.

    I prefer to use English mustard and maybe a few thin slices of a good tomato but when it comes to condiments, each to their own.

    I've long been an advocate of a fried egg in there, but then it does have to be no tomato, no mustard, just HP sauce or ketchup.

  10. Regular bacon is already highly salty. These insanely thick bacon steaks will contain so much salt, that you would need to drink a swimming pool worth of water after consuming it.

  11. I can honestly say I have NEVER seen anyone mix brown sauce with mayo I LOLd. Although I need to try that now just out of curiosity. Bacon sarny is my favourite thing, yours is far too thick although I'm sure its still amazing!

  12. A few corrections.

    1. We often do them toasted as an option as well as non toasted.
    2. We often add a fried egg.
    3 Pork Belly does not a bacon butty make.
    4. We also offer a version with a sliced in half sausage and egg. Epic.
    5. Tastes better if the bread is buttered.
    6. Mayo? Just NO!

    Apart from that not a bad effort.

  13. “Butty” is what mothers say to kids in the north of England (where I live) . “Do you want a butty?” You wouldn’t usually say it to an adult, and nobody with a southern accent or posh accent ever says it.
