  1. Sigh…I was so excited when this grill showed up right before Memorial Day weekend. The box was in great condition https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt and had all of the pieces enclosed. The directions need a bit of rewriting in my opinion. I did put this together by myself and it took me about 4 hours and 3 breaks. I'm sure if you had a helping hand, it would go much faster. My suggestion would be to unbox everything and lay out each piece, have a screwdriver and small socket wrench available as well. I will say that once you get going, the directions are easy to follow. I did have to consult the pictures/glossary in the back for a few pieces. Fast forward. The grill works perfectly as described and did not produce a propane-like taste to the food. I hear that you can have these issues with a gas grill. Overall, I am very happy with the grill despite the process.

    I love your burger/sandwich recipes.
    I have a request for you for 2 of my favourite burgers.
    One is TGIF's Signature Tennessee Whiskey Glazed Burger and the other one is Nando's Nandocas Choice Burger (Garlic Bread + Coleslaw + Peri Peri Chicken Breast + Cheese)
    It would be great if you can guide us with home made Garlic Peri Peri Sauce too… and the Whiskey Glaze…
    Seems like bit of a challenge but hope you are up for it… 🙂

  3. Love your recipes, made quite a few. Not that it is a big deal but I believe your using the microplaner incorrectly. It should be used on TOP of the lemon and not underneath . That way you can see the yellow skin and not plane too much of the bitter white part.

  4. Me again… I had to leave another comment. Just returned from SD. Made this, and HoLy Ess this is one amazing dish. The only thing I did different, was marinade the bird in a one gallon Ziploc freezer bag. It was hard to leave some aside for near future (happening tomorrow) chicken quesadillas. Missed you at the Piazza Della Famiglia Sam. This channel just keeps getting better. Great job again STCG team! You guys rock.

  5. Before we get into it, the only lemon chicken or fish that blew me away, or Beijing duck, the skin separated from the meat, it was crispy and flavorful, but the meat was tender. Just saying, my expectations are high.

    Continuing on, bless you. This is Americanized to the max. We are the flavor country!

    I once saw Julia Childs debone a chicken in three moves. Have you seen Predator?

    How long did you end up giving the chicken on the grill?
    If you got a 3 burner grill, would you recommend using the middle, or one of the sides, for indirect heat?

  7. Sam… I love and have watched you for years (as well as bought most of your products)… But can you PLEASE prepare beforehand a little more and not sound/seem as clueless please?! A silicone/basting brush is not called a “cooking brush”. And you definitely should not put more marinade on something on the grill right before you flip and then “wonder why there’s fire you have to blow out”… Really not sure if it’s on purpose or not. But I think you’re better than that
