Damn she talks too much justifying her actions
Scrape out the rest of the sauce from the blender
Your version has Too much work !
Laura, you’re right it was invented in Finland and they had a shortage of feta cheese for a while
This dish was actually invented in Finland not Greece. They had a shortage on some other kind of cheese so went with feta. It’s actually from Finland not Greece. Surprisingly that looks delicious. I’ve made it before but years ago I need to make it again soon I am a freshman in college yes I’ve made it before Laura
Can't access the website for the recipe 🙁
I made this and while it's tasty (it's legit nice)…it tastes pretty far from the original. I think this is more for people who don't really like feta but still want to participate in this old trend.
I slice my garlic cloves and also an onion and they cook fine in the oven with the tomato and feta because they cook quicker when chopped into pieces 👍🏼
Wonderful recipe. Thank you. My feta got burnt in the bottom in the oven. Should reduce the temperature from 425 down or cook for lesser than 30 mins?
You talk too much
Delicious.,,,I'm surprised that this recipe with pasta and feta has now been going viral now!!! my yai ya use to make this for us when we had really nothing to eat its simple and fast as you know Greeks love there lamb and there veggies…make a uvetsi laura …lamb and tomatoes with a risotto/orzo pasta
Gosh – you made very hard work of what is a simple, very successful recipe as is.
Great Recipe, please also view my Feta Pasta and any suggestions/feedback is welcome

My kids are on vacation with their dad. I'm trying to use up some tomatoes before they go bad . . . I don't have feta. I do have cream cheese. Would that work? By the way, thank you for your amazing recipes! I enjoy following your recipes . . . Especially the broccoli soup!
Just made this! It was delicious – definitely going on my rotation <3
Your recipes look great. I wish you had the ingredients listed and how much to use. Thanks.
I love your recipe and I am going to try it, but this a completely different recipe with different layers of flavors. With the original if u want less oily use less olive oil. I find this recipe to lend itself to all kinds of versions including adding some roasted chicken . You can ‘t go wrong no matter what twist u put on it. It’s delicious 💜.
The appeal of this recipe is the simplicity. You made it more complicated. The taste difference needs to be significant for the added time, dishes and ingredients.
So many narcissitic traits I can see, it is obvious…
Not good
OK, so why didn't it work for other folk? not to worry; Kenji explained it.
Yes,Yes,Yes! Perfect
I'm sure yours is much better, but time is my lease available commodity, so I put pasta, oil, water (water to just a little more than cover pasta), and pre-readied veggies, ricotta, seasonings, etc, and cooked 6 min in the instant pot. Maybe not gourmet, but after being stirred up, truly delicious!
If you make it with ricotta cheese, would you do the same thing and put it in the oven with the tomatoes? Thanks
