  1. Portuguese cook here. Well done!
    A few tips though. Deeper plate. No midllle slice of bread. Cover the egg with the cheese slices. A little bit of acid (vinegar or mustard) in the sauce. My favourite sandwich in the whole world ❤

  2. Google Translate is awesome. They're spending bank on it to create the perfect handheld translator. They know what a Frenchie is and how to pronounce it.

  3. I had this in Porto in June, it was a bit much for 1 person. Their sauce seemed less complex and thinner than yours and had great flavor, you could taste the beer . I am surprised you are tackling this odd sandwich.

  4. Francesinha (A portuguese approach to a FRENCH dish not Russian, there is literally nothing russian in that word), Francesinha = La Francesita = "The little french female". I am just speaking about the linguistic and root of the Word.

  5. fcck the secret is out. My family been making these for years. Also throw some fries in the plate right in the gravy. You have one of these and your gonna be full all day though.
