This was like my favorite dinner growing up. Make some tostadas, get some good cotija cheese and a few avocados… Delish!
We are a big family and i love recipes that can feed an army.
We usually accompanied tinga with a nice sopita de fideos.
We are working class, afterall!
Recipes like these feel like home to me.
Laura the last 2 mins of this video made me crack up!! Chefs treat, itβs the app before the app, itβs the silence before the chaos! I made dinner for my 3 boys and that hit home.! I always eat some before the chaos and then they ask why Iβm not as hungry π ! Loved this video β€
I love whenever she says Hispanic dishes with an accent!! As a Hispanic myself, I have the power to make you an honorary Hispanic, Laura! Lol
This lady is sexy to me
We are addicted to this recipe!!! Thanks for sharing <3
Thank you Laura!! Came out great, and I was able to turn the leftovers into taquitos π
Does anyone know what cookware set she is using in this video?
I like your accent when you pronounce the names in Mexican wayππ²π½
I love how you make all different kinds of food. We love you π
If you skip the chipotle will be delicious too.The tinga can be use for tostadas or tacos dorados, your accent is sooooo perfect
Lovelyyyy! I personally love the texture so i just don't blend the onions. I sweat those, add in some chopped roma tomatoes.. while frying, they'll turn into a sauce of a sort … I use all of the same ingredients essentially but I boil my chicken with onion, garlic, salt and yerbabuena (spearmint I believe). Anywho… I invite you to try it this way. Then serve it on a tostada (previously spread with some REAL refried beans.. not those tex-mex ones please lol), (w/the tortilla fried in some corn/vegetable oil), top with shredded lettuce, tomato, sour cream, queso fresco, a little avocado if you can fit it lol and fresh squeezed lime juice π€π»π€π»πππ game changerrrrrr π²π½π²π½π²π½π²π½

I made these tonight .. let me tell you , they were AMAZING.. My husband inhaled his . I think three Chipotle peppers were the perfect amount as well! Another winner from LITK ! β€
Why you can't speak Spanish? I'm shore that it's berry good but you forgot the epazote the most important π’ bisous from France !
Laura – would you consider doing a video on a vegetarian tagine?
For tacos I like making vaca frita de pollo. Which translates to fried cow of chicken.
Yes your Spanish pronunciation is on point! The tinga looks so good im gonna try and make your recipe!
Only thing missing is cotija. Love the saltiness it brings β€
Did you take the bay leaf out before blending?
Anyone who inspires you to make a dish is a rockstar!!!β€
Itβs also good with hard shell chicken tacos
yummie , thanx for sharing
Match up arrows on blender lid and canister. I have the same one.
Years ago I asked my mom for her tinga recipe. She told me 2-3 canned Chipotle peppers. I took it to mean 2-3 cans!! I put 1 can to start and figured I'd taste and see if it needed the second can. Oh man was my mouth on fire!!! I tried everything I could possibly think of to tame the heat but it was no use. π π I learned a valuable lesson that day about the Chipotle peppers lol
DidnΒ΄t know Laura was part latina lol. Her spanish sounds native
SHE DIDNT ASK TO BE BORN LATINA!
Not oregano or cummin , with garlic and salt, that's it and blend the Chipotle with the tomato
Hey Laura . I remember making trimisu once and i found your video and i was obsessed with your baking videos and it was 13 years ago when i was 12 π’ . Time flew and here i an with 2 kids at 25 and i remembered you all of sudden today lots of love β€ seeing you progress so much β€β€
Thanks Laura, made it today and WOW just like my Mexican friends that cook make it. I thought it was even better since they usually donβt blend the onions and garlic
Looks delicious!!!
Chef's treat = quality control…. a very necessary thing π
Mmmm, that chicken is the base for many good meals!! πππ
OMG so excited to try this recipe i have all the ingredients, wish me luck
I grew up on Tinga, my mom would always make it! We love it here by the Mexican border β€
Its wonderful that you made chicken Tinga, we were blown away by this Mexican stew and enjoy it on tostadas with sliced thin onion avocado radish, and lettuce with a little cogita that I think itβs great you do recipes outside your own tradition. Thank you for this.

I'm salivating ππππ. I would cook the chicken in that sauce instead of poaching it. Is it gonna change the flavor if i do that?
Perfectly don looking very tasty ππ
Add queso and cream π€πΌπ€€
Pronuncias el EspaΓ±ol perfecto ππ²π½ I spread sour cream or Mexican crema on my Tinga tostadas
