  1. So good. This was my second year making it. A little extra work but totally worth it. Also, the leftover pulp you have from using the sieve- you can make fruit leather!! Just spread on a parchment lined pan and bake on ovens lowest temp for an hour or 2 (ovens vary). I cut mine into strips to make homemade fruit roll ups lol

  2. I don't like videos that do not give the amount of each ingredient necessary to make whatever the video is about. It says to add a bag of cranberries but it doesn't say how many ounces. It says to add water, but it doesn't tell you how much. Are you just supposed to cover them or a little bit more and then it says to add sugar, but it doesn't tell you how much to add.

Now I realize television chefs like Lydia and others don't want to give you all of the details, so you'll buy their cook book.

I found it just as easy to buy a can of whole Berry cranberry sauce and cook it on the stove with a little water to thin it out. You strain it through a sieve to separate the berries from the jellied cranberry liquid. I don't have an exact recipe because this is not my website. But I discovered it buy trial and error.

  3. Extremely easy to prepare. This was my first time to make a cooked jelled cranberry sauce. The recipe was altered by reducing the sweetener (I used Allulose) by 1/4 cup, ginger to 1/4 teaspoon and 4 drops of Sweet Drops Vanilla Flavoring was added after the cooking was done. I also used an immersion blender which made a smoother texture. The flavor of the the orange zest seemed to be more dominate but overall the flavor was delicious. Thank you for sharing.

  4. I did this recipe. It wasn’t messy. I used the cinnamon stick and orange rinds. I forgot and chucked everything into the cook and it still came out perfectly. It was very easy. Only 1 pack of cranberries which cost about $1 at Winco. I support the content creator. Good work.

  5. Glad I watched the whole thing bc I was about to call you out n say funny how your jelly has the tin can lines for being homemade😂
P.S. who will believe its homemade if you use a can lol😂

  6. My family loved this! I made a triple batch and it gave me 3 and a half jars. It comes together so quickly and the flavor is delicious. Certainly more flavorful than store bought. I'll definitely be making it every Thanksgiving and Christmas!

  7. Can you make a video making it using dried cranberries instead of fresh. I like the way yours turned out but I have a bunch of dried cranberries and was trying to see what I can do with them

  8. I love watching you. I haven’t watched you in a long time a lot of things going on and I am so thankful for you sharing with this because I am like you I like both but My Grandson absolutely loves the gel so I’m gonna make this for him. I just have to make a whole lot because me and him we can eat two jars at one time we are cranberry lovers so thank you so much and you guys have a wonderful holiday.

  9. I'm a big jelly fan. I'm wondering if there are any other fruits, besides cranberries, where I don't need jelly powder to get the same consistency as yours. And if so, can I use the same recipe? I wish you many more good recipes. Greetings from Slovenia. 😊🌹❤

  10. Hi Laura, merry Christmas to you and your family.
What did I do wrong, I made this recipe, put in a can, just like you did, overnight in the fridge, took it out to slice it but it is just jelly, I can't slice it like you did. What went wrong, but it tases amazing, thank you so very much

  11. Wonderful recipe. Thank you so much! I did exactly every steps and it did jellified like canned, which is not available at my place. A little bit sweet for me so I add a tsp of lemon juice 🥰

  12. I served both kinds on Thanksgiving and every one picked this homemade version over the popular store brand. Using a can made it so they could t tell by the look.
It’s slightly sweeter and had so much more flavor. Thank you!! A new family favorite!

  13. I JUST finished making this cranberry jelly and it is currently in my refrigerator chilling…. It tastes amazing and I am so excited it eat it later! The only thing I changed was I did a quarter cup orange juice and a quarter cup water to give even more orange flavor. Thanks for the idea to make my cranberry sauce Jellied! Happy Thanksgiving! ✌💖

  14. I don’t know if I’m going to be able to wait for the turkey! This is definitely so much better than store bought.

I will add a time saving tip instead of using the food processor and strainer I just used my immersion blender. Less clean up to worry about and I definitely have a full can of delicious cranberry sauce to enjoy
