Laura, just like my parents cooked their Sunday sauce. Never sautéed the onion ahead of time. My Noni always used lots of fresh basil when she made it, my dad loved fresh oregano and would occasionally add a bit of anchovy. Question: do you have a ratio of lbs of pasta vs. how much sauce to cook? When I place cooked pasta in sauce, I sometimes have too much or too little sauce. Thanks.

My mother was a fantastic cook, but she never allowed me in the kitchen with her. She always shooed me away, telling me to go play until it was ready, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I wish I had these precious memories with my Mom.
This felt like the food network cooking shows haha. For a long time I thought i was going crazy wondering why i had seen this kitchen before but continuously saw your vids in the studio one. I kept thinking, “maybe the white background was someone else’s place?” 😂 can agree with everyone else tho that this kitchen feels more bright and opened. More mellow atmosphere!
