We really just have one goal – to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.

If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin – then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.

Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️

  1. I've tried many different version of that Curry, but the one that i will always remember had apples in it. Yes you heard it, apples! Everything in your version is the same but instead of honey, they put some diced apples into the curry. This will take it to the next level. Trust me!

  2. I am amazed at how well you made the pork cutlet curry.
Japanese people (including me) also love Katsu Curry.:) Please come to Osaka next time you are in Japan. Osaka is a great place to eat!

  3. I’m so happy you did this, my friends mom refused to give me their recipe. Could never find the recipe online. Just from the look! I know this is it! Will be back very soon with my update on my attempt!

  4. Hello Sam,
    Greetings from India.
    I love your burger/sandwich recipes.
I have a request for you for 2 of my favourite burgers.
One is TGIF's Signature Tennessee Whiskey Glazed Burger and the other one is Nando's Nandocas Choice Burger (Garlic Bread + Coleslaw + Peri Peri Chicken Breast + Cheese)
It would be great if you can guide us with home made Garlic Peri Peri Sauce too… and the Whiskey Glaze…
Seems like bit of a challenge but hope you are up for it… 🙂
    Thanks.
    Big Fan.
    Regards,
    Harman

  5. Yoko in Buena Park, CA, in North Orange County. You might enjoy it Sam + Sam's family. Probably one the only times I'll ever recommend something to ya since your foods so good

  6. I made this entire dish last night and it was delicious! I had no trouble finding the S & B curry powder at my local H-Mart store as well as the pickled ginger which was a great addition to the meal. Thanks Sam for the tutorial and recipe!

  7. We have a little restaurant called Tokyo here in OKC, that was the first place I have ever had pork katsu curry. It was phenomenal then and I go back occasionally now. They also make a “Dry curry” which has apples and raisins (I think) and ground meat. I wonder if you have ever tried it?

  8. What level spice for the Coco Curry?! I studied abroad in a small town north of Tokyo. My 3 favorite comfort foods were Mabo Tofu for the Chinese place, late night Ramen, and Katsu Curry.

  9. Just finished eating this fantastic recipe. I searched high and low for the S&B Curry Powder, but it seems you can only order it online. I went with the S&B Golden Curry Medium hot mix and used about a tablespoon of the brick chopping it up into a powder like substance, worked out well. Sam this is so freaking awesome! My taste buds are still dancing! This will make recipe #6 I've made, and all have turned out fantastic! Thank you, Sam, you are making chiefs out of us all.
