  2. Whoa, I have the same mandolin. It took off the very tip of my pinky one night whilst slicing onions. No fear. I'm just much more careful these days. The bourbon seems over the top. The only bourbon I have in the house cost is $180 bottle. Not for a smash burger! By the way, the opening photos/video on this was top notch. Kudos.

  3. That shallot oil left behind is liquid gold. Pour it hot over some sliced garlic, crushed chili or Thai peppers, Sichuan peppercorns. (Cinnamon, star anise, bay leaf, if you’re fancy). Sooo good 😝

  5. OK, I'm stupid. I don't understand why SMASH BURGER cooks pile on as opposed to serve as is. I love smash burgers, one layer thick. Spectacular flavor, plus fast cooking. I also don't smash my burgers in the pan, but in the plastic bag they were frozen in as a 1/3 pound burger. Yes, I do use cheese sometimes but more often tomato, lettuce, jalapenos and ketchup. Call me a smash burger virgin!. Enjoying my first experience again and again.

  6. This channel has the potential to be the ABSOLUTE BEST cooking channel on YT, if it weren't for those cringe melodramatic intros you guys refuse to get rid of.
