the meatballs dont fall apart?
You’re right the next thing the lasagna is the best. It’s good to make it in the night leave it and then you have it for the next day. I’ve done your recipes is awesome. Thank you so much.❤
This lasagna is WAUW! ❤ i’ve been making this today and it took me a while but the effort is 100% worth it. Hubby looked at me and said wauw it’s soooo delicious!
Mamma mia!! Buonissima
Your such a bad person laura vitale. Aka jennifer brew
Wonderful
I swear you age like fine wine
This makes me so happy! lol My grandma, also from Naples, made lasagna similarly. GIANT platters of teeny tiny meatballs ( that was the kids' job eventually 🙂 ) It was so special and typical for the holidays. Sometimes she chopped up little teeny tiny pieces of ham or salami, too. I have not made it like this is years and years but I think I will this year. This was so fun to watch !:) God Bless xoxo
beautiful mamma
This looks so yummy!!!! That seems like a lot of sauce though….anyone make it with less sauce?
"Who would have stale bread around these parts". 😂
I can’t to make this for a birthday dinner. If I bake it the day ahead, what’s the best time/temperature to reheat it at? Thanks!
Laura, is Ravioli a staple in your family and if yes, what holiday?
I LOVE ITTTTT
For how long should we simmer the sauce ?
Looks delicious, I'm gonna need to take a page from Nonna's book and put my 3 kids to do meatballs 😊
making this today
Thank you so much for sharing!
I’ve made the original lasagna you posted multiple times turned out amazing every time and everyone who ate it always asks me to make it again but it can be a bit pricy to make it since the price of ingredients is so high last time I made it I spent about $50 on the ingredients and it’s been over 2 years since I’ve made it so I assume it’d be more expensive now since a 1lb of good ground beef gets near $10 where I live
Made this today and it was easily the best Lasagna I've ever had! I used bechamel instead of Ricotta (5 cups milk) and it turned up super creamy and the meatballs were very tender and delicious. Bravo nonna!
Try a dash of Angostura Bitters and Cinnamon Powder to your pancake mix and fry in Ghee!
Ciao Laura!! Eccezionale propio come la facciamo noi Campani. Brava!!
What is the name of this pot?
Happy to se her shut the 'Bechamel' crowd down…I've seen many (mostly the offspring of Italian grandparents) argue that only ignorant Americans make lasagna without Bechamel! So wrong! Laura is making lasagna very close to, if not exactly as my grandma made it.
Hi Laura!! I'm going to make this for my family next Saturday. What temperature do you recommend reheating it at and for how long approximately?
I love to watch you taste the dishes! I know how Italian food especially homemade delicious. I got to experience the Italian Christmas Eve dinner the dishes just keep coming… Cheers to you and yours from Boston.!
I bought a locally made lasagna that had cinnamon and clove in it. Why? Why do some people do that? My brain was thinking it was desert and rejecting it.
I can’t wait to make this one. Looks so delicious!
I always cook my little meatballs for wedding soup in the oven on a cookie sheet.
Aye! You forgot to pour 2 glasses of vino …1 for the sauce & 1 for the chef😉 …thank you Laura! 😘
I can't wait for Christmas lasagna! I'll look like Garfield when I get a hold of that.
You're so stinking adorable!!
I'm making this for dinner tonight! Thank you!! ❤️😘
I am proud of you Laura! you rock

This is what we call lasagne alla Napoletana. Let's just say this is a lighter version of the original recipe. The original recipe calls for Ragu alla Napoletana which takes 8 hours to make.
Hi Laura I been watching you now for about a year. I'm a Nonna myself of 11 wonderful babies. Now hope it's not a silly question but what salt do you use.. and this receipe looks to die for my mom might kill me for not using her receipe but I need to try yours lol. Happy cooking!
I grew up making mini meatballs for our lasagna. My mom also added chopped hard boiled eggs. Delicious.
I have to try this lasagna!! I LOVE how REAL you are with talking to your daughter! I'm addicted to watching your channel!
