This isn’t even the weirdest thing I’ve watched two guys do with a wiener.
Just spent an evening with our adult son and his fiancée. They bought us your cookbook for Christmas because we force them to watch your show…and we chose hotdog night! We did the Greek dog and the Hawaiian dog. We have more for tomorrow too, pepperoni and sour cream and onion. Have to let you know…the Hawaiian was the bomb!! Great times and great food! Make yourself a stainless steel tubing sharp at 1 end, Peirce the hole sausage and insert a cheese string and plug both end 1/2" off sausage from the hollow tool 👍

Those drill bits are oiled when they're new like that. Just wiping it off wouldn't have gotten it all out of the spiral so good call on not eating the dog at the end

Poking the hole all the way through the dog with a metal straw (wide diameter of course) seems like it would be a better idea, that way you can just pop the dog onto the spray cheese can and let 'er rip 'till you see the cheese coming out the other end.
You should try and steam the dogs first….been doing this for years.

This was wrong on so many levels, but I'm ok with it
I don't understand why you risked, and WORSE, show, and encourage others, how to risk drilling their hands or fingers off when you could have easily used a straw to "drill" the hole simply by insering the straw, then pulling it out, removing the hot dog meat inside "trapped" within the straw, and then stuffed it with "solid" cheese, cut to size to fit in the hole and never have to "guess" if the hot dog is full of cheese or not. What you did with that drill is very dangerous and shame on you for "showing" other's complete stupidity to risk injury to themselves. No disrespect intended, but in this case, the shoe fits , doesn't it? Thank you, God Bless and be safe.

Buy a foot of 1/2" copper tubing at a hardware store. Shove it through the dog. Then shove it through a block of cheese (Jack!). Then insert the cheese loaded end into the hole in the dog. Push a round dowel through the tubing while slowly pulling it out of the dog leaving the cheese where you want it. Done it several times; works great.
The non food safe rusty drill bits made my cringe a bit tho …
