  1. Bauducco 👎 it's not.
Visit the them Miami Florida distribution closest here.
    And actually they are Brazilian.
    They also sell
Wafers, Cookies and Toasts. It has a partnership with brands like Sun Maid and, yep Hershey's.
The original family recipe isn't today's recipe.
Things have changed since the Italian man went to Brazil.
Careful you don't bite down on a piece of something hard like a raisin unusual but that's the company. They aren't what they used to be.
So no matter how much you say the name
Bauducco with an Italian accent doesn't matter

  2. Try Whole Foods traditional panettone
European butter cage-free eggs imported from Italy
It is 100 * 100 better than the raw texture you get from that company brand
Bauducco after you put it in your mouth
    They have gone down downhill

  3. I can not tell you how often I have made this recipe, and it’s always such a hit! And never fails!! Love love looooove this! Looking forward to the colder days and make this soon again ❤ thanks Laura!

  4. Anyone know if this can be assembled the night before and baked the next day? Also, since some bread pudding recipes call for old or stale bread, would this recipe benefit from using stale panettone? The one I have is fresh and unopened, but I could pull it out the night before making it and let it dry out a bit if it would make a difference.

  5. Made this using panettone for the first time and it turned out absolutely amazing, it was fluffy, sweet (but not too overpowering) with an amazing crust on top. Literally had for dinner and breakfast and was completely devoured by everyone! Give it a try, you won’t go wrong

  6. At 1:39 "it smells like my childhood at Christmas time." I nearly lost it…remembering the beautiful moments with my crazy Italian family… the ravioli & meatballs…Italian candy….wrapping paper….everything. Amazing how a simple but very specific aroma can transport you to a memorable time in your life. Love your recipes!

  7. The recipe looks beautiful, I’ve been cooking so many of your recipes for years. If I could, I would suggest holding off on the vanilla until the sauce has cooled off a bit. Otherwise you are burning off the alcohol and ultimately losing the flavor of the vanilla.
