We really just have one goal – to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.

If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin – then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.

Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️

  1. So two years later, it's Oct 31 2024 now, I did a quick search on Walmart to see how much this would run me. Of course the place and store would give you different prices, but I gotta work with what I have and was curious, even though I suck at math.
Prices taken for up in the North East.
    Great value Unsalted butter: $4.26
    Fresh Whole Yellow Onion: .75c
Beef Eye Round Steak Thin (.56 – 1.75lb) (not including adjustment charge and no, you can't choose the weight online, it's random)(cheapest they had outside of shaved steak, which is ribbons and not cuts, and the cheapest ribeye would be $12.33 right now): $6.02
    White Potatoes(5lb): $5.48
    Great Value Bread: $1.42
Great Value Large White Eggs (6) : $1.72
The adjustment charge for the meat was $8.68, bringing the total to $28.33. However the the adjustment charge is a place holder so you don't know how much it would actually be UNTIL the meat is weighed. For that reason, lets be on the safe side and cut it in half and say that the total would be $23.99, if I'm not messing up.
However Sam only used two potatoes, and if we can assume each potato in the 5lb bag is 10oz, then gauge the price for two potatoes, that'd be $1.37 (20oz being 1/4 of the 80oz five pounds, and 1.37 being 25% of 5.48 I think). Which would make it $19.88 for all ingredients.
And THEN if we tried to split that into fourths, just to get the price down and more attractive, it'd be $4.97 per plate, or $3.31 for sixths. But I suck at math so if anyone finds I did it wrong, please correct me. At fourths it's more expensive than buying a frozen dinner ($4.78), though not at sixths. Probably a lot healthier though!
