  1. Came for the video. Paused it at the raw meat, and the comments don't disappoint. Sam seems like a genuinely nice guy. I know some of the comments will crush him. But I hope he does a repost on this vid. I bet he beats himself up more then the comments.

  2. Unlike steak, you need to cook ground beef until it's fully cooked. It's not a steak because the insides have already been exposed to the air, which means they could have bacteria on the inside. This is not safe at all to eat.

    This reminds me of the time when you tried to cook a 30 pound burger and the inside wasn't cooked at all.

    If you're attempting this again, I would lower the temp to 250 and use a thermometer to wait until the meat is at minimum 160. Anything less, and you risk food poisoning from e. coli.

  3. This is basically a shawarma-style burger. This doesn’t work. Shawarma skewers are constantly cooking. The guy takes the outer layer that has already been cooked and make sandwiches with it. Just pilling burgers on top of each other and putting them into a smoker/grill wouldn’t work. The outer layer will cook and the rest will just be raw minced meat D:
