  1. The Mexican rice SUCKED so bad; doesn't even taste remotely close to mexican rice…and this gave us both the worst shits and indigestion of our lives.

    This recipe gets TWO THUMBS DOWN!

  2. If you add liquid to the pan during the searing process then you're basically just stopping it from searing. All that moisture has to evaporate first before the surface of the meat will even brown.

  3. I've been making carnitas for years, but, having just followed your recipe, I have made the most flavorful, tender carnitas ever. Thanks for this video. Enjoying you in Mexico City.
