Memorial Day 2023… making this but did my meat on the Q. Also made my slaw slightly different… turned out awesome, and I had to use what I had regarding bread; marble rye toasted with mayo and everything bagel seasoning! Thanks Sam!
sorry to say this, but fries are raw inside and that kiełbasa is nothing similar to Polish kiełbasa, We use sauce more like ketchup with mustard it depends who likes it his way.
and for final, the traditional way to make a proper kiełbasa is gently cut into a lattice i grill it 😉
My favorite dog is Kiolbasa brand jalapeño and beef, or garlic pork, sausage. Not the little ones but the big sausages. They come out of TX and are also sold sometimes at Costco. Grill or air fry it…grill is better. Put it on a toasted Village Hearth Wisconsin brat bun…toasted mainly on the inside and just a little on the outside. Add chopped onions, spicy mustard, quality aioli and topped with fresh cilantro. Great stuff man…you can’t go wrong.
There is one slight spin-off of the Polish Boy, called the Polish Girl. It is the same sandwich with the addition of smoked pork. Mabel's BBQ celebrity chef Michael Symon swapped fries for chopped pork. Polish sausage you used has nothing to do with the real Polish sausage,looks like bologna inside.The original smoked sausage is darker, meat is more coarsely ground, it is mostly made of pork( no beef).Next time it's worth buying a kielbasa in a real Polish Deli.
Well, I wanna start by saying, my husband and I found your YouTube channel a month or so ago. We cannot stop watching!!! Everything looks delicious!!! We have tried a couple things at home. They turned out good. The best by far was the recent episode on the "Polish Boy"! We are about 2 hours drive from Cleveland and had never heard of it! So, of course, we had to make it right away! Man, it did not disappoint!!! Soooo good! I even followed your "recipe" for the slaw! Although, with it being the New Year and being from Pennsylvania, the PA Dutch have a tradition to have pork, kielbasa, peas, and kraut on New Years. So we made our own version with a garlic butter grilled bun, mashed potatoes, kielbasa, and kraut. It was a grand slam!!! Thank you for your inspiration and entertaining videos! Cheers!
