  1. This is my first time making and tasting this soup. When I tasted it I was like Are You Kidding Me! Out of this world good. When my husband tried it he was just as in love with it as I was. Made it for company the following weekend and they were equally amazed at how good it was. They took the recipe home with them and continue to rave about it. Thank you for yet another fantastic recipe. I am Italian and as many Italians who know the difference between good food and not even close your recipes are spot on.

  2. cornstarch gives it a different texture. If you forget the flour (which I did making something else a few days ago), you can make a roux with butter and flour in a little pot and then either add the gloppy roux to the pot or temper the soup into the roux and then pour it all back into the rest of the soup.

  3. That light blinking on the stove was killing me! BTW, what brand chicken stock? I have been using Sam's club base for a while, it does what I want it to do but I would love to knw what you use.
