  1. You’re right the next thing the lasagna is the best. It’s good to make it in the night leave it and then you have it for the next day. I’ve done your recipes is awesome. Thank you so much.❤

  2. This makes me so happy! lol My grandma, also from Naples, made lasagna similarly. GIANT platters of teeny tiny meatballs ( that was the kids' job eventually 🙂 ) It was so special and typical for the holidays. Sometimes she chopped up little teeny tiny pieces of ham or salami, too. I have not made it like this is years and years but I think I will this year. This was so fun to watch !:) God Bless xoxo

  3. I’ve made the original lasagna you posted multiple times turned out amazing every time and everyone who ate it always asks me to make it again but it can be a bit pricy to make it since the price of ingredients is so high last time I made it I spent about $50 on the ingredients and it’s been over 2 years since I’ve made it so I assume it’d be more expensive now since a 1lb of good ground beef gets near $10 where I live

  4. Made this today and it was easily the best Lasagna I've ever had! I used bechamel instead of Ricotta (5 cups milk) and it turned up super creamy and the meatballs were very tender and delicious. Bravo nonna!

  5. Happy to se her shut the 'Bechamel' crowd down…I've seen many (mostly the offspring of Italian grandparents) argue that only ignorant Americans make lasagna without Bechamel! So wrong! Laura is making lasagna very close to, if not exactly as my grandma made it.

  6. I love to watch you taste the dishes! I know how Italian food especially homemade delicious. I got to experience the Italian Christmas Eve dinner the dishes just keep coming… Cheers to you and yours from Boston.!

  7. I bought a locally made lasagna that had cinnamon and clove in it. Why? Why do some people do that? My brain was thinking it was desert and rejecting it.
I can’t wait to make this one. Looks so delicious!

  8. Hi Laura I been watching you now for about a year. I'm a Nonna myself of 11 wonderful babies. Now hope it's not a silly question but what salt do you use.. and this receipe looks to die for my mom might kill me for not using her receipe but I need to try yours lol. Happy cooking!
