  1. So sorry but this didn’t work out for us. Followed your recipe and instructions exactly. It was watery, kind of bland , the pasta looked white instead of the nice color you had, and the daughter said there wasn’t enough lemon flavor (I used 3 Tbsps…Im going to try the zest next time). The recipe was easy for me, but for sure not easy for beginner cooks (FYI). But thanks for the video!

  2. i loved when my italian grandmother used to make this
She would add sliced mushrooms and serve it over Rice

  3. I make the pioneer women’s recipe of this and it’s so good if you hit it with some grated Parmesan reggiano at the end and a little more squeeze of lemon juice. It makes it that much more delicious.

  4. Probably one of my favorite dishes , sometimes we serve it over rice. Great with some steak on the side, surf and turf. You are making me hungry !! BTW we can't get enough of your Chipotle chicken knock off recipe, it was OUTSTANDING and one of our go to recipes during grilling season. Thanks Laura.

  5. Actually scampi is the name of the animal itself, it's similar to a shrimp but not the same thing
Having said that, that pasta looks amazing! I'm vegan but still love watching all videos and getting inspired for cooking methods and flavor combos ❀

  6. ❀‍πŸ”₯π“†©βœžπ“†ͺ Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the Gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved , if you hold fast that word which I preached to youβ€”unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: -` 🚨⏰ Β΄- THAT CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES, AND THAT HE WAS BURIED AND THAT HE ROSE AGAIN ON THE THIRD DAY ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES. …1 Co 15:1-4 NKJV

  7. But where are the scampi? This is a pasta with just shrimp Laura. Scampi is a protected name for Nephrops norvegicus, a species that is closely related to lobster. They are more expensive, have lobster-like claws and taste different to shrimp. I believe that someone from olive garden marketing came up with the name, not understanding that scampi is a different animal/crustacean and not the name of a pasta dish type. It makes as much sense als calling a pasta dish with chicken "chicken-duck". Also fun fact: European restaurants are forbidden by law to use the name "Scampi/Scampo" in a dish, if they only use the cheaper shrimp – it's fraud !

  8. I don't know why I've never done a Scampi, but your technique and explanation of the process and your encouragement just told my brain to make it. Thanks, Laura.
