Laura, thank you for cooking this Peruvian chicken. I am from Peru, and I really appreciate you trying different recipes. I believe, we use an herb called "huacatay", which is very aromatic and full of flavour, for this sauce, instead of cilantro (we call it "culantro"). I am thinking the type of pepper we use is "ají amarillo", which we use a lot, almost in all of our dishes.
Hi Laura…can that green sauce be frozen???
Yummy
I made this for a poolside bbq this weekend and my guests raved about this recipe! I didn’t include the hot pepper in the sauce but it still came out delicious! Would definitely make again when having a bbq!
I made this recipe and the caprese pasta salad from 12 years ago and both were a huge success. The green sauce was so good after refrigerating about an hour.
I made it !! Marinade 48 hrs. So good Making it all the time now!
Good cooking is good, but try to be “ a smart ass “ is worst. I see a lot cooking show on YouTube, this is an one of them .
Looks delicious. Definitely going to try it. Ty…
they way she says "forty" lmao
I prepared the sauce and took it to a BBQ gathering and told people to try it with chicken and everyone lost their mind. It was delicious. All the wives asked me for the recipe and I gave them the link to your video.
That sauce is the best!!! I love Peruvian chicken, this looks amazing!
Is this recipe in your new book
This is sooo freaking good!! I cooked this in the air fryer and it was sooo tasty. Adding this to my weekly rotation for sure! Obsessed!!! Thank you Laura
If you like that sauce like that, just imagine how good it would be if it was made right. You didnt use aji amarillo or haucaty. Try that.
So my daughter asked me to try this recipe and I am so happy she did. It is absolutely delicious! The flavor from the marinade and the sauce are so very good. Of course, I made the recipe before seeing the video. I marinated the chicken for six hours. I cooked the chicken, on the stove, in a cast iron pan. I substituted labneh for the mayo and the sauce was excellent. Thank you, so much, Laura for sharing this recipe. It really is awesome!!!
Hi I don’t have a grill can I make this on my stovetop?
Laura, this recipe is a winner. We love Peruvian chicken with that amazing green sauce.
Made this for dinner. So delicious. 10 out of 10!
You talk too much!
I just made this and it came out very well. I marinated mine for 28 hours and it did the trick just nicely. The sauce is key here. I don't like mayo so I used Greek yogurt with a splash of Rice Vinegar instead and it it was great!
Laura has always impressed me with her talent
Thank you for your sharing your recipe miss Laura
I made this yesterday, i like it a little bit spicier so i added Thai chillies instead of Jalapeño and added more black pepper. Otherwise kept the same recipe. I garnished it with scallions, cilantro and side salad. It was restaurant quality!!! The sauce was really good too!!
Such great work! Thank you! I hope everybody smashes the "Thanks" button and puts a couple of bucks into the tip jar.
hahaha! <pounds table> "You don't understand!" That's too much. Thanks, Laura! You've always been awesome!
Happy happy happiest mother’s day Laura you so so much deserve it. I know your the best mom ever. Plus you just kick ass in the kitchen anyways so I really really hope everything goes your way. I will be cooking that very soon. Love ya
Is it wrong for me to be looking out for your nonna as I’m visiting Naples on my way down to Pompeii?

I’ve got my chicken marinating in the fridge for tomorrow!
This recipe is really AMAZING!!! I did not grill my chicken. I stove top cooked them. Making sure both sides of the chickens are well seared. Delicious in every way imaginable. This green sauce I have made it numerous times on my own years ago because I discovered it while trying Peruvian food for the first time and LOVED it. I keep this sauce handy for everything. Viewers, make this chicken today. You won't regret it.
I cannot find the printable recipe for this. Search says not found. I would love to make this ASAP! Thx so much!
This looks absolutely delicious. It’s on my list. I need to get myself one of those blenders. Recommendations?
