  1. Another NYE, another Shrampy!

Two years ago, I met my gf. We were each just out of unhappy marriages. She flew up to spend Christmas, my birthday, and NYE with me.

We made Shrimpy and toasted the New Year.

Last year, she made it for NYE with her kids. This NYE she’s back in town, we’re happier than ever, and it’s Shrampy again tonight!

Is Shrampy the secret to our happiness? I dunno, but I’m not taking any chances!

  2. I do not understand why people like to peel their own shrimp when they’re eating it. I want the shell on the shrimp prevent a lot of the seasoning and flavor to get in to the shrimp? Also, if she has a whole bunch of work.

  3. Personally I prefer inside. That way your using the basic kitchen items so many of us are limited to use because of situations like say we live in an apartment where a backyard isn’t accessible or equipment like an evo or a smoker or even a grill

  4. Question sir- why would you put all of those AMAZING seasonings on the shrimp and then peel the shell off before eating it?! In some Asian cultures it very typical to eat the shrimp w/ the shell on, not only is it full of calcium and adds texture, it's full of flavor with all of the seasonings on there Mr. Sam the Cooking guy! Lol, or cook them w/out the shell, but man- that looks DE-LI-CIOUS so I've gotta try it! Thanks for another great recipe!

  5. Hi Sam! Love your show and can't wait to go to San Diego and eat at Not Not Tacos. Hey quick question. Can I used peeled and deveined Argentian shrimp instead of shrimp with the shells on? Should I reduce my cooking time? Please let me know.

  6. I’m new to your channel and most videos I’ve seen you seem to burn the bajeezers out of your fingers and mouth and I’m feeling your pain lol
Love your videos your recipes are amazing
    Thank You

  7. Sam, may I recommend a new kitchen tool for what you're doing at 7:20? (Slicing butter with a knife not suited for the task.) Try using a wire knife. Look for "wire knife" on Amazon and you'll see what I mean. It's basically the E string of a guitar, stretched really tight over a bow, with a handle. It slices cheese and butter and soft boiled eggs better than regular blades because there's nothing for the stuff to stick to. I'm not talking about the type that is captive on a cutting board for slicing cheese. I'm talking about the type on a handle.

  8. I wonder if Sam realizes the beauty of editing..that he can actually let the food cool before he tries to eat it and it will look like he's eating it straight out of the oven. Chance probably doesn't tell him on purpose and laughs every time he burns his hands or his mouth. I might burn myself for those shrimp and that fresh bread dipped in the shrimpy sauce though
