  1. We tried this recipe yesterday for Thanksgiving (still made the green bean casserole LOL), ON MY WORD! The layers of flavors slapped me multiple times! A must dish throughout the year!! My hubby and I love your channel!

  2. I made this today for a church gathering of about 100 people, so I tripled the recipe and baked it in two 9×13 pans. It went over very well despite the fact that I pulled a Sam and forgot an ingredient. As soon as I removed it from the oven, I realized I forgot to add the Monterey Jack cheese. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ So now I have to make it again. Tripling the recipe was fine but I also should have had a larger pan to sautรฉ that much onion and mushroom

  4. So long, green bean casserole. If you love it, more power to ya. I personally have never met a green bean dish that made me say, โ€œIโ€™d like more of that, please.โ€ Even those mean beans that are pickled in something spicy. It was better than your average green bean, but did I ever buy them? Negative.

  5. Bacon 5, onion in grease, add mushrooms, knob of butter & garlic paste until carmelized.
    Bowl cream cheese, 2T butter – cream together, bacon, 10 oz spinach (drained), 4 eggs beaten, mushroom mix, 8 oz mj cheese. S/p, 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes.
    Butter, fried onion topper. Once cooled add parm cheese

  6. I made this last night. Great Keto dish! We ate it as a main dish and it was delish. I thought it was a bit too spicy with 1 tsp pepper flakes and will reduce that next time. But I will definitely make it again. Thanks, Sam!

  7. Made this for dinner tonight. It went together flawlessly and tasted so damn good. Heck with โ€œsideโ€ status, it made a great entree! I wouldnโ€™t change a thing in this recipe. Even the crispy onions fried in butter and topped with parm were perfect. Thanks Edith, er, Sam!

  8. Thanks for sharing this great recipe Sam! I made your version, but miscounted my cream cheese and ended up having to substitute it with a spare container of mascarpone. Everyone enjoyed it. Happy holidays!

  9. Made this for Christmas Eve party 2023. It was a hit. I chopped fresh spinach. It wasted time. Next time for speed and simplicity, I'm using frozen chopped spinach like in the video. Probably, any cheese would be OK, but I stayed with the recipe and used Monterey. Also, I used 5 eggs. I wanted to make sure the finished product was firm and easy to cut into well-defined wedges. In any case, it's an easy recipe. I highly recommend trying it.

    It supposed to be for Christmas dinner @ ham.
    I even had the right pan and did your magic release over the bowl.
    This will be a family tradition.

  11. I have NEVER eaten green bean casserole. My mother never made it and I had no desire for it. I looked at the recipe for it and it sounded gross. Iโ€™d rather have green beans just by themselves. Southern style. Like me. ๐Ÿคฃ
