We really just have one goal – to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin – then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️

Next time take the keel bone out for super easy carving.
This is probably my third time saying something in here… Only because every time I do this, I come and watch it again, but I’m actually wanna write everything down this time. I’m about to do some Cornish hens this way. I’ve already done a few turkeys amazing every time. The only difference is I frog cut mine.
Back from a year ago to do this! Someone deep fried last years turkey thinking they were helping. Ruined our chance to spachcock the turkey.
I did bourbon this year and it caught my oven on fire…
Did this for Thanksgiving this year and my wife said it was the best she ever had, and loved it so much she had me make it again today 3 weeks later. Fantastic video, thanks.
Does this come out tender? It seems like it would be very tough cooking at that high and fast.
Why my butter mix is not sticking to the turkey? Its pad dry
Did this exact receipt yesterday and it was excellent! The family loved it.
I made this turkey yesterday and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever had in my life. If you follow every step it really does come out that juicy and it’s soooo tender. This is such an amazing recipe.
I’ve come back to vouch this recipe
Made this 11-29-2024 was absolutely moist and delicious. Thanks Sam & Fam love the channel. Happy Thanksgiving
Max and Chance: You guys missed the opportunity to insert the almighty: "Ahhhh: Push it!" into that cutaway… LOL – Rookie mistake 😀
Salt and Pepa are judging you both right now….
Thank you 26
Unc Sam and this little pot is killing me 😂
13:19 He definitely said “heat and air” gets underneath it.
Did you go straight into the oven after injecting and rubbing or let it sit for any time?
Best turkey recipe I have ever tried!! Followed the recipe exactly, was concerned about the 425° oven temp but OMG it turned out perfectly, melted in your mouth. Thank you Sam
I came back a year later to vouch. I made this for Friendsgiving last year and boy was it was a HIT 😎 Spatchcocking the turkey was the most challenging part for me, so it is absolutely key to invest in good poultry shears. Have fun y'all 🍻
I made this last year. And it was so amazing everyone is clamoring for me to make it again this year. Thank you for providing some awesome ideas. The second choice was to make a Mojo turkey (similar to your chili lime chicken) Which was dry brine with some garlic powder. Then about 16-20 garlic cloves sauteed in 2-4 tbs of olive oil, cook until oil is infused, and then add 1/3 cup each of lime, lemon, orange juice. Reduce a little, strain, and inject. Then the kewpie mayo, bit of lime juice, and some cilantro and garlic for a rub. And standard cook after that (425 and varying time depending on weight).
The prevalence of lime in the mojo will get you really close to the recipe from versaille in LA. Which is some of the best citrus/garlic chicken in the world, imo
"Liked" like Chance 👍
Sam! You didn't explain how to take the temperature. Important!
This is the best turkey video on YouTube and I am PISSED because I wish I had seen this video before I went out and bought a rotisserie.🥺
I'm using this recipe for my turkey this Thanksgiving. My family is mexican living in the States, and we love spicy food. I hope it doesn't disappoint 🤤
The only thing I would change is putting it on your smoker. That will take it to the next level of flavor. This is how I do mine every year.
Where can I get that black cutting board you’re using?
Definitely needs blurring 😂
question if you dont cut it in half can you still smoke it
Lol😂 we had to contend with astros barking, not its kids is hilarious
Yes at night again!!!!
Important tip, not in the video but in the recipe online: Cover the bird loosely with foil before putting it in the oven. I didn't do that the first time and ended up scraping the outer coating of deliciousness into the trash. Great recipe, though! I'm making it again tomorrow! Wonderful work, Sam and Minions!
Really amazing Turkey here. All the flavors and attention you gave to this Turkey was just outstanding. ❤❤😮
LMFAO what movies are you referring to Sam?!
DUDE!!!! You just helped me create the BEST turkey I have ever made!!! Everyone loved it and I got so many compliments and questions about how I did it. I just directed them to your channel. Thanks Sam for making our Christmas one for the record books!
11:28 “I might have to blur This “😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I made this and was beyond surprised. It was the best turkey I had ever eaten and the gravy I made from the whiskey drippings, I can't even begin to describe. It was my first time removing the back bone. It was a struggle but I made it. Next time I will get someone stronger than I for this task. I kept apologizing to the turkey for bad butchering I did. Thank you for a wonderful new cooking experience and spice rub.
Question: I'm planning on following this recipe for our Christmas party we are hosting at our home this year. I showed the ingredients to my wife and she is worried about the Cyan pepper in the recipe. With her side of the family not liking spice and there being kids potentially eating the turkey, do you think it would still be good without? Me and my side of the family like spice and wouldn't care, and I know that in the video you say that it is not spicy. Just wanted to ask to make sure. Also to see what you thought. Maybe a suggestion for an alternative… Thank you in advance! Appreciate all you do!
I just spatchcocked my first Turkey!!! I’m so excited!
Just put mine into the oven!
Are they sending secret messages in sign language with those hands back there???
