Bertolli like Carbonell are both from a Spanish company. They mix all kinds of olive oils. I read people saying the oils comes from Albania and Greece. I'm here to add Morocco to the mix. Olive oil is a Mediterranean staple, not an Italian invention.
Name one Mediterranean country that doesn't consider olive oil a foundation of their culture, not just cuisine.
Here in the Midwest we have the Barilla and the Bertoli oil at our Walmarts, but absolutely nothing like the canned tomatoes you have available to you in the East Coast Walmart. Hey, Walmart! Give us the good stuff!
Sclafani is great. Walmart pasta at 92 cents per lb is pretty good. They also carry Partana Sicilian olive oil. I hadn't seen it in years. Only olive oil my grandparents used.
@Laurainthekitchen – love these home-ec videos. Between us – in our NY-NJ-PA region – you should showcase those can-can deals at Shoprite stores. 28 oz Tuttoroso tomato products at $1 each… Cento paste and artichokes with big discounts every few weeks and the Barilla pastas have been on sale 3x this year – 3 boxes @ $4… and usually some extra off if you have a savers' card. I promise – I don't work there but I do most of my shopping there. Cheers to you Jersey Girl 🙂
Is that olive oil in a glass bottle? And what's the source of the olive oil, is it from California Italy or multiple locations because that makes a difference !
What’s your opinion on filipo oberio? (probs butchered the spelling) it’s one of the only big brands we get here but it is SO expensive
That’s a pass for me
Your hair looks beautiful BLACK 🖤 LAURA it shows you are a true Italian.
Dei Fratelli is my go to for sauce
I have to agree Ronzoni is hit a or miss, I have had to throw away pasta because it will not become al dente after 15 mins
Barilla is the only pasta to buy
Gosh Walmart is expensive. Winco sells Barilla for like 1.20
DE CECCO E’ la Migliore

Laughs in California prices 😹
Your voice is so funny sounding
Best olive oil to use is from one single place California or I like Kirkland's extra virgin Italy. It's worth the price😉
Bowties my fav❤❤❤❤❤
Good for the bank is usually not good for the health.
Dinner mess with ronzoni we always had that
You pick exactly what I always buy and I honestly didn't know how well I was doing. Thank You ❤
I totally agree
Why do you shop at that store
They don’t pay for health care
Barilla is not the best brand of pasta. There are way better brands out there.
Trash choices.
As an Italian, I am absolutely appalled, disgusted, and revolted by the horrific sight of pasta on the floor. 😂
Walmart? Don’t you know it’s can can time?
Laura is just so gorgeous no disrespect to her partner !
Bertolli is the WORST brand of olive oil. Do some research. It is rated as the worst.
The raos pasta is way way way better
Team !! Laura ❤🎉🤗

Where is made from ? I won’t buy Chinese products
This is very helpful. Some chefs make you feel like you have to shop at specialty markets for things like this, especially for the olive oil. Thanks
Rao's pasta contains durum wheat semolina and that's it it is by far the best that you can buy look at your ingredients
I would enjoy most of your videos more if that beautiful hair was down. Enough with the ponytail. If you got it show it.

When italian says she would choose Barilla it makes me doubt things 😂
Barilla is laughed at by Italians.
😍😍😍😍
Laura bringin’ the future la nonna vibes, in the best way! Love this! I second the Aldi short idea! You’re the best, Laura!
Better off at Sam club 😊
Kickin ass! Much love from Philly!
I hate to burst the bertolli bubble but it is ranked as one of the worst olive oils #1 to avoid

I NEVER buy groceries at Walmart😂
