Great recipe! I make this all the time. I also add garlic along with ginger. I agree with one of the comments below. This is the first recipe I've come across that doesn't use Pav Bhaji masala powder. Β This is all made from scratch. Thanks for sharing.

I have been trying out your recipes recently and they are simply awesome….not traditional sometimes but they are seriously good. my kids hate pav bhaji but they liked this recipe…so you get 5 stars plus more for this different pav bhaji recipe.

In Pav Bhaji Onion is must.

Garlic is NOT an important part of most Indian dishes. There are many many sub-cuisines in India plus family lineages where NO garlic is ever used in the home. Some of these may use some onions only, these days.
