We really just have one goal – to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.

If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin – then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.

Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️

  1. I have at least one recipe from my late other very similar to this. She didn't use bok choy, used celery, onion, carrot. Aside from that, it's virtually indistinguishable from Mom's recipe.

  2. This looks great and love your recipes. This one looks like a very good candidate to try in the instant pot, and that's what I'm going to do just as soon as I can find some Holland Hot Finger Peppers (or a suitable substitution).

  3. I thought for sure those guys were being dramatic when they took that first bite.

No, not dramatics at all it’s that amazing. The texture thoughhhhh ugh definitely going to become a staple in our household. Thank you!

  4. I made this with a few changes due to not having some of the ingredients. I used pork instead of chicken. I used carrots instead of peppers because I don't like hot food. I used green peppers instead of bok choy, and used a red onion. I didn't have wine, so just used chicken broth. I used my dutch oven. But overall, it looks similar and tastes great. I call these fridge clean out meals.

  5. Hello Sam,
    Greetings from India.
    I love your burger/sandwich recipes.
I have a request for you for 2 of my favourite burgers.
One is TGIF's Signature Tennessee Whiskey Glazed Burger and the other one is Nando's Nandocas Choice Burger (Garlic Bread + Coleslaw + Peri Peri Chicken Breast + Cheese)
It would be great if you can guide us with home made Garlic Peri Peri Sauce too… and the Whiskey Glaze…
Seems like bit of a challenge but hope you are up for it… 🙂
    Thanks.
    Big Fan.
    Regards,

  6. Just made this one – good flavor but came out a little "gloopy" for me. I used red bell peppers and they overcooked to mush, and the bok choy pretty much did too. Might be a good idea to put in less chicken stock next time, and maybe just toss in the veggies on top about halfway through the 30 minute cook time. That way the veg steams and softens just a bit and doesn't turn to mush.

  7. If there is one thing to learn from this video is to add corn starch to the marinating meat. There use to be a cooking show, long before the interweb called “Wok with Yan”. I was watching it and he added cornstarch along with whatever sauce he was using when marinating the meat before making a stir fry. I tried it, and it changes everything. The meat remains tender and juicy. Give it a try, it is a game changer.

  8. Made this two nights ago and it was delish!! Next time I will add water chestnuts and baby corn. May even throw in some bamboo, sprouts and egg. We shall see.

Love the show!! Please keep the awesome recipes coming!!!
